This project was completed with 360info. 360info is an independent nonprofit public information service with headquarters in Melbourne hosted at Monash University. Monash is Australia’s largest and most globally connected university with campuses around the world.

The hot spot methods involved using a geospatial analytics technique for uncovering local areas of spatial association.

Outcomes

This analysis of census data reveals youth mental health hot spots: areas with higher mental health diagnosis rates in young people than neighbouring areas.
